RATES & POLICIES

RATES & FEES: 

A Minimum Service Charge of $85 applies to all handyman service and repair jobs regardless of the time required to complete the work. This covers the basics of travel, set up, clean up, overhead and insurance coverage.  

In order to maximize the value Cape Handy, LLC can provide to you, it is suggested to bundle any other small needs in addition to your basic need. The minimum service charge covers up to the first hour of labor only.

In order to be as fair and reasonable as possible, each job is unique in its own complexity and will require varied levels of skill, tools and equipment. Cape Handy, LLC will provide you with a detailed estimate specific to the scope of your project(s) as well as the materials and consumables needed and any related disposal fees to complete your project.

Cape Handy will honor all estimated jobs for up to 30 business days and your job will be billed at the estimated price agreed to up front unless the scope of the job is changed, alternate materials are requested, or additional work is requested by the customer. Your estimate for services is based on what is readily visible and can be seen. At times, unexpected issues are uncovered such as previous poor workmanship, mold, rot and insect infestations. This is considered "additional" work and will be discussed and priced with you before proceeding.

DEPOSIT POLICY:

Deposits are required, in advance, for any special order items, items with re-stocking fees (e.g. specialty lumber) and non-returnable items specific to your job (e.g. electrical supplies/devices & custom paint). Should you cancel your job, the deposit is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION:

As I am a small business and in high demand throughout the area, please kindly provide a minimum of 24 hours notice of any cancellation. This allows Cape Handy, LLC to avoid unnecessary travel expenses and provides opportunity to service other customers who may be waiting.

PAYMENTS:

Payment in full is required within 5 days of completion of your job and after you have inspected and are satisfied with my work.  Cape Handy, LLC accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Cash, Check, ACH transfer or payment via Venmo.

GUARANTEE: 

One (1) Year for defects in workmanship from the date of completion.
